Hey Friends,
In case you haven't heard, the Bakers have adopted a little girl! A birthmother chose us to adopt her 18 month old little girl! Her name is Chloe and she was born in Montana. We traveled to Cheyenne, Wyoming and were granted with the gift of Chole on August 27, 2007. This blog is the story of our journey to Chloe.
We will keep you up to date during Chole's first year as a Baker. Check back for updated pictures and posts. Start from the bottom and work your way up through the archives for the complete story.

When was Chloe born?
Chloe was born on February 20, 2006, she is 18 months old.
What color eyes does she have?
She has brown eyes.
What color hair does she have?
She has brown hair.
How much does she weigh?
She weighs 21 lbs.
What size clothing does she wear?
We are not exactly sure...she is small for her age... we are anticipating that she can wear size 18 months.
How long will you have to stay in Wyoming?
We will have to stay in Wyoming for 5 to 10 days after we receive Chloe and meet with the attorney and social worker on Monday, August 27th. Our flights are now booked to return to Mississippi on Saturday, September 1st. We hope!
What do Kellan, Ryan and Drew have to say about having a new little sister?
They are all in favor of having a little sister, they have been part of this journey and are looking forward to it.
Are the boys going with you to Wyoming?
Drew will be going with us. Kellan and Ryan have school at Veritas and will be staying with friends in Mississippi.
What Adoption Agency are you working with?
We are working with and agency based in Utah called A Act of Love.
How long have you been planning this adoption?
This has been almost a 2 year process... but we have always wanted a little girl.

Tracy & Robert - WOW!! She is beautiful. I can't wait to see her in person. She really does look like you Tracy - your hair color is just the same. The pictures of her and Drew are so cute.
